Madelyn Labella, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher with the Infant Caregiver Project. Dr. Labella received her doctoral and master’s degrees in Developmental Psychopathology and Clinical Science from the University of Minnesota, and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English from Williams College. Her research program focuses on risk and resilience processes in young children and families experiencing chronic stress, including those affected by poverty, homelessness, and exposure to violence. Dr. Labella is particularly interested in parental emotion socialization, self-regulatory development, and evidence-based parenting interventions.
